I strive to capture the intangibles in every scene. A great photograph can reveal the emotions and the mysteries as well as the context of its subject. Images can be seen; mine can also be felt.

Most of my photographs are preconceived in my mind before ever taking shape in the viewfinder. I rely on my understanding of the subjects and their environments. This awareness allows great images to form. In landscape photography, this translates into an appreciation of and an openness towards what nature has to offer. For weddings and portraits, the essential connection with and sensitivity to my clients develops quickly, allowing me to capture their unique personality.
