We are searching for the most creative, enthusiastic, poignant, funny, and inspiring essays from across the country. Tell us your tale and you’ll have a chance to win free bar or bat mitzvah photography.

The winner will be announced September 15th at Allegrophotography.com/blog and contacted directly.
Requirements:
Bar or Bat Mitzvah Celebration to be held between October 15, 2008 and April 15, 2009 (subject to David Lee and Jo Kaplan Lee’s availability).
What do I submit?
1. Your completed entry form.
2. Your essay in words and/or images, not to exceed 5 pages. (May also be accompanied by videos, photos, songs, etc!)
Please answer one of these questions:
- What aspect of your day would you most want us to capture in photographs? Why?
- What does it mean to you to be Jewish in 2008?
- If you could invite anyone (alive or dead) to your celebration, who would it be and why?
We are looking for creative, thoughtful answers. Make us cry. Make us laugh. Make us hope. Stand out from the crowd!

What might I win?
The winner will receive the following Simcha Photography Package, valued at $4500:

By submitting your entry to Allegro Photography’s “A Mitzvah Story” Contest, you are giving Allegro Photography permission to use your submission and any resulting photographs online and in print.
Selected family is responsible for covering all travel expenses if the site is more than 125 miles from Boston, MA. This may include car mileage or airfare (at the photographers' discretion), moderate hotel accommodations, car rental, and other miscellaneous reasonable travel expenses. No cash or other substitutions. Award may not be transferred. The decision of the judges is final. Contest winners are required to sign our standard photography contract.
